The most ridiculous and delusional wrestling awards are back, and despite being panned by almost everyone with a shred of common sense, Meltzer had the audacity to say these were the “best received awards” ever. Obviously this guy doesn’t look beyond his own bubble of braindead unwashed virgin subscribers - who he leads towards voting for what he wants anyway - but he also has the warped sense of self-importance to present these awards as some type of official barometer for the year that was— despite the fact that 90% of wrestling fans won’t even be familiar with either the “wrestler of the year” or the “promotion of the year.”

WWE Crown Jewel Review + The Vision Betray Seth Rollins

Billi returns to discuss the week that was in wrestling. Coming off a solid Crown Jewel, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed’s attack on Seth Rollins to close out Raw will undoubtedly dominate the chatter in the wrestling world, which, aside from AJ Lee’s return, hadn’t happened too much in recent months. It piqued interest in “what happens next” and raised questions about the future of the World Heavyweight Championship. That should mean more eyeballs on the product.

A Tribute to The GOAT: Hulk Hogan

Billi pays tribute to the GOAT of professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan.

Hulk Hogan helped usher in the 1980s professional wrestling boom, where he headlined eight of the first nine editions (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9) of the WWF's flagship annual event WrestleMania. Hogan also was a regular headliner of Saturday Night's Main Event and its spin-off The Main Event. During his initial run, he was a five-time WWF Champion, with his 1,474-day reign being the longest of the WrestleMania era ever. He was the first wrestler to win consecutive Royal Rumble matches, winning in 1990 and 1991. His match with André the Giant on WWF The Main Event on February 5, 1988, still holds American television viewership records for wrestling with a 15.2 Nielsen TV rating and 33 million viewers.

AEW ALL IN 2025 PREVIEW

Two of AEW’s original stars, Jon Moxley and “Hangman” Adam Page, will go to battle once more on Saturday, July 12, at All In Texas for the World Championship. This is AEW’s most significant event in promotion history in the United States. Over the last three years, All In has become the biggest event on their calendar. This year’s event will take place at the home of the Texas Rangers, Globe Life Field.
